Kafka Summit San Francisco to Feature the Latest in Streaming Applications and Real-Time Data Pipelines

PALO ALTO, Calif. – June 28, 2017 – The committee for Kafka Summit San Francisco today announced an all-star lineup of keynotes, speakers and sponsors for the third Kafka Summit, the largest gathering of Apache Kafka® developers, operators and executives. The event takes place on August 28, 2017, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. Kafka Summit brings the Apache Kafka community together to share best practices, write code and discuss the future of streaming technologies.

The conference will host 32 sessions across four tracks: systems, streaming data pipelines, stream processing and use cases. Keynote presentations will feature Neha Narkhede, co-creator of Apache Kafka and co-founder and CTO at Confluent; Pat Helland, software architect at Salesforce; and Randy Shoup, vice president of engineering at Stitch Fix.

Sessions were selected by the Kafka Summit committee from more than 150 submitted speaker proposals. The committee includes streaming data experts from Cloudera, Confluent, Google, LinkedIn, O’Reilly Media and Pivotal.
